Light House – One of the Best Film Venues in Britain

It’s official. According to The Guardian we are one of the best cinemas in Britain.
In today’s newspaper, and on their website, The Guardian have listed ‘The best places to watch films in Britain’. And Light House is one of them, listed as a reader recommended cinema. Greatest thanks to Guardian contributor “SkinnyMocha”, amongst many others I hope, for giving us the nod.
He mentions our comfy seats and cool café bar as great reasons to visit. That, and the fact we’re based in the historic Chubb Buildings. If you haven’t visited our cinema yet, take leaf out of SkinnyMocha’s book and swing by. You won’t regret it.
It’s a proud moment to be listed amongst such well known and respected venues.
Visit here to see the full list.

Well done Light House! “SkinnyMocha” could of course be a woman? “FatFrappuccino” would be a better name for a bloke, don’t you think?
I personally love Light House Cinema, not only because of the comfy seats, ample leg room, great film choices, and friendly staff…but also because you can enjoy a nice cold pint of beer during the film. Pure bliss I tell thee!
You are correct sir. SkinnyMocha does lean itself more towards a woman. If you are, indeed, of the female persuasion please accept my sincerest apologies for any gender reassignment inferred/implied.
As a Canadian ex-pat Wolves would be loess appelaing without Light House. It’s a great venue, great programming, great atmosphere & great staff!
