We are the only independent cinema in Wolverhampton,  and offer a friendly atmosphere and warm welcome to our visitors. We have a 2 screens showing a daily programme of contemporary and retrospective releases, archive films and new independent shorts and features accompanied by director Q & As and discussions.

We also plays host to a diverse range of film festivals and film education events.

Lock Works cafe bar provides alcoholic drinks, refreshments and confectionary for you to purchase before you enter the auditorium. You can even take your drinks into the show with you. (WOO!)

Our main cinema auditorium seats 240 people with 2 wheelchair spaces and our studio cinema seats 67 people with 1 wheelchair space. All our spaces are wheelchair accessible and both cinema auditoria are fitted with deaf induction loops. Both our cinema screens are equipped with DTS-CSS digital subtitling facilities and audio description facilities.

The Techy Bit:

Light House (that’s us) boasts cutting edge HD Digital Cinema technology and is on the forefront of changing trends and developments within the cinema industry. Our Main Cinema screen is equipped with state of the art Digital Cinema Equipment delivering 2K HD resolution projection and 5.1 Digital Surround sound for the complete HD Digital cinematic experience!

Standard charges are as follows. Different ticket prices may apply for special screenings or events.

Special Offers:

Tickets are just £3 for Wednesday matinees with a free tea or coffee (Orange Wednesday promotion cannot be used in conjunction with this offer)* & for all Sunday screenings we offer the discounted rates of: £4.10 Full price / £3.60 Concessions
